Diamonds Bluff Farm welcomes you
Diamonds Bluff Farm is a family operated horse farm and training center nestled in the rolling hills of Carroll county, Maryland. The farm was established in 2005 by Jimmy and Becky Maticic and their dog Bailey.
We train horses for dressage, hunters, jumpers, fox hunting, and eventing, and teach riding lessons in all of these disciplines. There are always a nice selection of horses for sale. The horses at Diamonds Bluff are happy, healthy, and of sound mind and body. We pride ourselves on the quality of care each horse receives. Since our lesson horses are also our show horses, they are safe to learn on and fancy enough for the show ring. Learn more about us.
The atmosphere is fun and friendly and we encourage you to bring the whole family along. We specialize in starting young horses and teaching riders to develop an educated feel for the horse.
The farm is convenient to Howard, Frederick, Carroll, Montgomery, and Baltimore counties. We invite you to come visit us.

Riding lessons
We believe that one-on-one riding lessons are optimal for learning how to ride. We offer private lessons at reasonable rates on our talented horses or yours. Our teaching style is fun and encouraging, but challenging. Students are invited to ride with us at horse shows, hunter paces, events, trail rides, and other exciting "off the farm" adventures! Training and breaking
We give young horses the right start and put the competitive edge on older horses. Our method of breaking and starting horses has been proven to produce happy, well-rounded horses willing to move energetically forward from the seat and leg and excel in any discipline. Horses for sale
We always have a nice selection of horses for sale that we work with every day. We expose our prospects to dressage, cross country jumping, hunter jumps, and trail rides so you can excel at your preferred discipline. Blues Klues competes in the Novice horse at the Howard County Pony Club horse trials
Becky Maticic and Blues Klues competed in the Baby Novice horse division at Ligons in October. They were first after dressage and cross country, but pulled one rail in stadium, placing them third in their competitive class.
Becky Maticic and Blues Klues heated up the dressage ring at the PVDA shows this summer. Their training level scores range from 66% to 72%. They're in the running for a PVDA year end high score award!
This pair is preparing for a fun fall at the horse trials and hunter shows. Don't miss your opportunity to own this cool horse - he's sadly for sale since Becky is expecting.
No Delay wins the Beginner Novice at Olney Farm, Ligons, and Reddemeade!
Becky Maticic and No Delay won the Baby Novice at Ligons. Becky performed a beautiful dressage test and won the dressage on a horse she'd only ridden a couple of times before the show!. No Delay was a last minute mount for Becky after her regular mount was lame.
Diamonds Bluff Farm Students go to their first horse show!
Students Caitlin, Emma, Morgan, and Hannah made their horse show debut at the Lehigh Schooling show in October. It was an exciting day for all, including the parents.
